Frequently Asked Questions

Obeon is here for adults 18 and older who are ready to take a meaningful step toward better health. We serve patients across our licensed states who meet BMI-based clinical criteria. Certain health conditions and medical history may affect eligibility.

Because your health is unique, a licensed physician will review your intake information and blood work to confirm that Obeon is the right fit for you — before care begins.

Getting started with Obeon is straightforward. Before booking your first visit, you’ll need to upload recent medical records from a primary care visit and relevant blood work — both completed within the past 90 days.

Once your documents are submitted, you’ll be guided to schedule your intake visit. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

At Obeon, we prescribe FDA-approved GLP-1 medications (such as Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic, and Mounjaro) that have been rigorously studied and meet established safety standards. At this time, we do not prescribe compounded medications.

Your physician will review your medical history and discuss the most appropriate treatment option for you during your intake visit.

There is no minimum time commitment — you can cancel your Obeon membership at any time.

That said, clinical evidence shows that meaningful metabolic and weight-related changes typically occur over several months — and that’s exactly why we’re here, to support you through every stage of that process with safe, effective care.

Your Obeon journey begins with a one-time $150 intake visit, where you and your physician will discuss your medical history, weight loss goals, and a personalized treatment plan.

From there, Obeon offers ongoing care at $250 per month that includes secure messaging, follow-up visits with your physician, and active medication management as your needs evolve.

Medication costs are not included and may vary depending on the medication prescribed and your insurance plan.

Membership fees are non-refundable. You can cancel your membership at any time to avoid future charges.

We accept and bill insurance for lab work.

Obeon’s intake visit and monthly membership fees are self-pay, and we accept HSA funds for both.

Medication costs are currently self-pay — we offer a complimentary real-time benefit check so you know what to expect for your potential out-of-pocket medication costs. We know insurance coverage matters, which is why we are actively working toward supporting it for medications in the future.

Obeon is a virtual clinic specializing in obesity care. We complement, rather than replace, your primary care provider (PCP). We encourage you to continue routine care with your PCP and are happy to collaborate with them to support your overall health.
